This is of course a very topical subject that needs sensitive handling. You are doing great with it.
I like to read such stories, like yours when they offer the kind of reader who may have experienced obuse, some real solutions and practical answers. Glad that you are writing this.

Fuirst I'm sory I didn't read chapter Ten I was so behind on others reviews plus going to the doctors by time I got back to the list you were gone. then It totally sliped my mind. until I was readinding the next chapter.
So I had to read both chapters to be up to date, Good job.

Excellent start, bu tan exceptional beginning. I'm a little surprised i don't see you name on chapter book nomination list more often. The way you constructed the final scene and the rippling anxiety of the mother, could be a lesson in dialogue used to strengthen character identification etc..

Great attention getter, and it fulfilled what I anticipated. Getting custody was just the beginning of the next round for Anna. Good flow, excellent buildup, strong mix of good/bad. Keep the intensity and the message it delivers will be a beacon to those with abuse members in their family. Deborah

Anna' s troubles seem far away from trouble. Yes, in laws sometimes are difficult to get along with, less understand. You keep the suspense very well.

Great action and well written so that it is easy to read. It offers good action and we can't help but like the main characters. What a mother-in-law! I had never considered the extending family in an abuse case. Very believable story.
