How beautiful your words are, Susan. To give the gift of words is amazing and they will never be forgotten. Sigh, just beautiful.

Susan,
This is an excellent short commentary on how an act of kindness made your day. I'm glad it happened, as you're often down.

A happy heart cannot be a sad heart. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very positive read. Good job.

Is it me? Is it me? LOL I'm just teasing you. I enjoyed this delightful little story. I love the thought of a good friend coming along and sprinkling happy dust in my eyes.

Well tickle me innards til I cry
Susan told the downers good-bye
Decided to smile for a while
it sure looks good on her
hope it last a good long time
Well done, Buck

Hi Susan,
Thanks for sharing your joy with us. When you think about, it doesn't take much to put a smile on someone's face or a sparkle in their day. Just a kindly word or gesture. Or the time taken to give thanks, as you've done here in your lovely prose, re-package the joy and pass it on ... and on ... and on.
Bless you, and your friend. Hugs from Kate

Now everyone is going to try to find a member named Joy.LOL
Oh, she had a twin called Happiness too. Can just visualize her bursting through the rain and shaking raindrops off. For a minute there I thought you were talking about a dog, But dogs don't talk--well, yes, they do. Have yet to learn how to interpret Bow wow and arf, arf. I do know what grrrrrrrrr means. Hey! Did you see I'm number ten now! Maybe in another year, we'll be neighbors and you can give me a pony ride.
Hugs, Shari and stay happy. Get the hell out of Dodge!

Susan, would that I were that friend. I'm delighted you are seeing the sunshine. Please take pictures!
Really, Suse, as they sing in O Brother Where Art Thou, keep on the sunny side of the street.
Peace, Lee
