Sandra, I really enjoy your stories. I know children will
just love these. The rhyming is wonderful and I love the
flow of these. The stories you write are always so sweet.

This is excellent. I could easily see this bringing joy to many kids. The rhyming is so fun, and the flow is musical. I must say you've crafted an excellent piece here. Congratulations, and thank you for sharing!

I love your Hedgerow series; takes me back to childhood when life was easy, people loved simple things and do you remember the Little Golden Books for children? We couldn't wait for the next book to arrive on the shelf. One line that seems to bulge at the amount of words - Thick gloves for their hands and thick socks for their toes - shave it down? Maybe just gloves and socks instead of 'thick' (with respect.) Snow sticks, like that one. This is a happy edition to your book - the children will love it - I did! Cheers, K.

Thank you so very much for this amazing review, and for the 6 stars, Kay!! You are so kind. I am going to go back and look at that line, thank you for input, I like that! xsx Sandra
(what is your name? I call you Kay, but I have seen someone call you Kace!)

Born as Kay. Second name Christine, put Kace together as a nick name. As long as you call me for dinner - Kay will do. :-D

Fabulous little tale, Sandra!
Loved the way you brought the penguins to life in this latest adventure.
Rhyming scheme was spot on.
I'm sure children will love it!
Don't know if you need the comma before 'goodbye' in the third line of the last verse.
Excellent read :)
Regards, Barb

I'm going to have to go back and read the first 8 chapters. I love the idea of a children's poetry book with chapters. I never thought of that. I loved the story and the cute image. I'm a big kid, I still watch animations from the 1970s like, "He Man" "Speed Racer."

Hi Sandra:)
Delightful as usual. Children should love the winter trip to the sea. I totally like the way you humanize your Hedgerow friends. They are perfect role models for fun and good behavior If only all human tribes could get along and integrate so well.
Love and Irish Hugs,
Roger

What an absolute delight Sandra. It all flowed so beautifully with consistent rhyme and a great story for young and old. Your muse has returned big-time and presented a great chapter for you. It's no easy task maintaining the meter as you have done over such a long write, very very well done. Thanks for the most enjoyable read this morning. WriteOn, Garth
