A very nice poem of love in the early blooming stage.
budding trees and young flowers poking through the ground are apt descriptions of this stage of love. The thing I liked most was the twist at the end, totally unexpected.

Hello Bob,

Hope springs eternal in the human breast. In this case so much so that love was able to overcome Brad's confirmed bachelorhood. Cute story which probably plays out more times than we realize.

Aww, a sweet love-story told in a few, touching words. I'm not normally a great one for romance, but you did this well. I thought the seasonal references gave it a beautiful, poetic feel. Good luck in the contest
