I like the theme of the poem. The activities that some animals do. To mention some are: the monkeys, the whales, and the Kangaroos. In the end, the writer says, all the animals whether great and small, God love's them all.

This was a fun and enjoyable read, and a great children's poem. Nice rhyming. I especially loved 'UP they jump and DOWN they dive'. Great picture to accompany your words. Well done! :)

Sometimes it is good to read childrens' stories that are simply written as they are satisfied with a story that makes sense of every day things. This would be good to read them.

excellent use of abcb rhyming
I'm smiling at the thought of those monkeys seeking fruit and bugs and friends :-)
nice proximate rhyme of sky and dive
Great choice of animals popular with little ones and excellent descriptive detail
I like the spiritual nature of the closing - I just bet little children will enjoy this as I most certainly did :-) Brooke

Thanks Brooke, we need a little 'lite' reading now and then. So glad you enjoyed it, maybe Sawyer will too. :-) Carolyn

Indeed, this is a charming work for children. I hope you are considering putting your children's poems together into a book for publication. This is a charming work that emphasizes universal love.

I had one minor edit question - or comment: Monkey's play in Jungle trees (I think this should simply be monkeys as it is not a possessive, no?)

Thank you so much. I actually struggled with Monkey's or monkeys, not sure. I will check further. I appreciate you and glad you liked the poem. Yes, eventually I will add this to a children's book I have in progress in my portfolio. Tall Tales and Short Stories. :-) Carolyn

this is very well written, carolyn, i enjoyed reading this cute little poem about the qualities of each of the animals. i spotted one error==kangaroos hop-hopping instead of hop-hoping.
