What a lovely haibun this is. While I don't know a lot about this form, I felt as though your prose part fit beautifully with the three lines at the end. The message I got here is that money and material things might be nice, but the real riches are found in nature. We just need to learn to look for and appreciate nature's offerings. I love how this centered around the bunny. Very well done!
My best to you.

You shared with us an epiphany offered by Mother Nature in the form of a rabbit. I often wonder if we humans really are the most favored. My only criticism relates to the way the word "maybe" was used . I think it should have been two words" may be ". Good job.

All good wishes to that sweet bunny and hope she survives to a ripe old bunny age. This is told very succinctly and clearly. I love your cute description of her. You suggest that the rabbit's needs are far less complicated than ours. Her concerns are just food and safety, whereas humans have financial and all kinds of worries. "Cotton dreams" is a great phrase. They can surely rest easily with so few worries. Well told! judi

Nice story. Excellent art work.My best lines were:
I dodge bill collectors. My funds maybe low but nature provides free riches.
Indeed the best things in life are free.
Well done!

There were some interesting parallels between you and the rabbit.
Does she have a retirement account or an anuity? [annuity]

She's cute! Your little story very well done. Rabbits are always funny little creatures, but the babies especially so. My dad used to put seed and other animal foods for birds, squirrels and rabbits. Sadly, there was a cat...
Thanks!
