That poem is amazingly written, jlsavell. I almost skipped it when I saw its length, but so glad I didn't. I mean, this poem is beautiful in so many ways. In regards to your note, she sounds like a real trooper. Note: I decided to give this six stars prior to reading your note.

drivenbackward, Oh my, thank you ever so much. I am truly humbled and almost speechless!
As far as Sarah is concerned, she is a trooper. Last year on September 16th, while at school, she suffered a life-threatening brain bleed call an AVM. She was life-flighted to the nearest facility which could handle brain trauma, immediately put in a medically induced comma and underwent an 8.5 hours brain surgery 3 weeks later in which the Dr. removed a blood clot the size of a golf ball from the right temporal lobe of her brain 1 week after that she has another 3 hour brain surgery because of intense seizures. She stayed in a medically induced comma for a total of eleven weeks and afterwards came to Houston's Texas Childrens for intense physical therapy. She was released late November. Last Monday the head of pediatric neuro surgery at Texas Children's found another AVM deep in her mid-brain. It is a harrowing experience, but we feel confident all will be well. Again, thank you ever so much.. jlsavell
