No easy task to generaye some real feeling with one of these. This little offering takes the reader back and then makes him soar forward with a feeling of yourh. Totally nailed this. Perfection.

A wise poem. It seems that it is only by letting go of all the inconsequential things that anchor us, can we be really free. Well thought out.

This was a good poem about finding true freedom by releasing a kite. I watched a show once where the characters released balloons into the sky. They wrote their big, impossible dreams on slips of paper and tied them to the balloons. This sort of reminded me of that, because in a way, they were freeing themselves from their individual burdens. Good job, and good luck in the contest.

Mikey;
-totally a brilliant and imaginative concept in writing which is truly inventive and ingeniously creative.
-You captured the essence of freedom by letting the kite go which is also a good example of trust.
-I love the picture which is definitely complementary and relative to the poem.
-Good luck in the contest and may the good Lord be with you always Mikey.

A busy writer thou art, tonight. I like this. It made me smile because I got as much pleasure from releasing my kite at the end of the day as I did flying it. Perhaps that's an inner appreciation for freedom that some of us have.

Hmm, that's very interesting. Yes, there is a sense of Freedom that comes from flying anything, including a kite. And then releasing it, so it can be free too. Very good idea.

Wow. Didn't I just read a poem from that had me carefully going over each line to read the deeper meaning. And then - this. I Loved it. I never heard of anyone suggestion releasing a kite to see freedom. Not sure that's a good idea! But I do love the message. Great job.
