What a touching story. I had an appaloosa growing up, but she was mean as the dickens and used to bite everyone, lol. Still, we loved her. She was the first horse I galloped on when she yanked the reins from my father and took off. I was six.

Thanks. Yep, some horses are kind of ornery. Carmon was a sweetheart but I think she was so grateful to have a full stomach.

This is a heart warming story, even though heart breaking that she died. You gave her love with great compassion and restored her to her glory. Well written and it's

Thanks. Thank you for the six stars. Carmon was a marvelous horse. Sometimes the rescue horses were nicer than pampered horses.
