songs to thaw
rime-encrusted hatred,
dripping from
the brows of the beaten,
and to undermine cupidity
with the voluptuousness of love.
This gave me goosebumps especially the end. An amazing write of true quality I will watch that film love Meia x

I appreciate your dropping by to review this one, Meia. Thanks. He was a fine poet - one of the best, in my opinion. I felt a bit diffident about writing a poem to honour him! Best wishes, Tony

This poem exemplifies what was the gravity, intensity and depth of Pablo Neruda's word usage and how creatively, innovatively, artistically and influentially he writes timeless; I liked and enjoyed the significant read.

A first rate example of how free verse can be used in a bigraphical tribute to a highly complex character who had a truly amazing career at a time of considerable unrest in the South American countries in which he eventually came to live. Even his death is shrouded in mystery though it was highly probable that he was poisoned on the orders of the state by some sort of lethal injection.
Poetry can get you into trouble in places other than Fanstory it would seem.
This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.

In this poem you open your feelings of impeccable form, show the connection that it joins and you demonstrate a rewarded art, greetings and blessings
