A very well written chapter to this most interesting story, my friend. He's been left alone to free the city--what a huge responsibility he has had thrust upon him~Debbie

Thank you, Debbie!
Poor Archie. He's really put in a pickle, but he is a leader. Hopefully he'll figure out how that will work for him in a strange situation.
Thanks again
Rhonda

Good chapter. Sani is gone and Archie is on his own, left with the task of getting everyone out of the mine and into a normal life. He doesn't think he knows how to do it, but if Sani thinks he does, then he does. :)

Thank you for the review, Phyllis, and for the wonderful comments.
Sorry for the late response, but I've been in and out of the hospital for weeks.
Take care,
Rhonda

It does seem rather funny for the old man just to turn tail and and walk away, maybe there's more to him than meets the eye. Poor Archie, circumstance will quite definitely find him out, the thought of people genetically changed so much that they are mind captives, boggles the mind. Excellent episode Rhonda, and it's great seeing you back, are you OK now, well done, my dear friend, blessings, Roy
Typo and (no) nothing of its structure. Knows? 2 : "That, and (proproganda) propaganda?

Hi Roy!!
I am better, though that's truly not saying much. I'm at home, but under nurse's care. I think it was the third surgery that took me down. It was very invasive, but that's okay. I know God is in charge and has shown me in many ways that He loves me. I have very little strength and am in a lot of pain, but it's okay. I'm better every day.
Thank you for the comments on the chapter. Sani has done his part, and is leaving the big parts to the younger kids. He's tried to train Archie all along the way. We'll see if it sticks, and if Sani is truly finished with them. lol
Thanks for your help and concern,
Rhonda

Hi, Rhonda
= It's so true. If one wants to be respected as a leader---they best lead---not will the peeps to follow.
= I'm coming in late, but a well written chapter, my friend.
= It's good to be back. Hope all is well at your end.

Hi, Jax.
I've been out of it for a couple of months. I had surgery for what they thought was colon cancer. It ended up being benign, but I had several complications that landed me in the hospital for 6 weeks, and three major surgeries, the last of which was extremely invasive. I am still very weak and fighting pain, but I'm working on recovery. Thank you for reviewing, and don't worry about being behind as I am too.
Take care, my friend,
Rhonda

= Ohhhh, so sorry you've gone through so much, my friend.
= Just happy to hear it was not cancer. Blessings.
= I hope your health issues are short-lived. No fun being under the weather for any circumstance.
= Take care. (*<*)

I'll be fine, Jax, just not as fast as I want, but, then, I'm not a very patient person, or wasn't anyway.

Oh, I'm torn. I'm so glad to be reading this again. Yay! I have missed it. But for Sani to leave, now, that's just terrifying.
I know you will rescue them somehow. I know this will end positively. I just have no idea how you'll do it. And I told you long ago I don't trust the president. I'm certain he knows, as Sani says, about all of this and that he approved it if he didn't actually start it. On this I hope I'm mistaken, but Sani seems to have my same worries.
Love this. So glad you are back!

Thank you, Marla! Sani has been training them all along, even though they probably didn't realize it.
Funny how you picked up on the foreshadowing about the President. There is definitely more there than meets the eye. Still remember, Sani is hopeful about the guy helping them, no matter what he might be aware of.
There will be some twists to the plot, but I'm an optimistic type...
Thanks for the six star review, my friend. I'm still in recovery stage, but soon I'll be in the "I'm bored" stage, and hopefully I can write more then.
Take care,
Rhonda

Oh, no! Sani, come back!! I wouldn't be ready either! Great dialog as Sani seems ever more wise and sophisticated, too about the outside world. So glad to see your post again, Rhonda. Hope you are off work for the summer and can fully recuperate!

I am off for the summer, and that's a great thing, because this has kicked my butt, and I didn't expect that. At any rate, I'm feeling up to reviewing and writing, and that's a good sign.
Don't count old Sani completely out, but he's ready to let the young ones do the hard work.
Take care, and thanks for the review.
Rhonda

I found this to be fascinating. First chapter I've read. Your author notes help fill in the questions formed while reading. I just may go back and read some of the previous chapters.

I would be honored if you went back and read some of the back chapters. I've been on a bit of a hiatus as I've been in the hospital, but am back now! Thanks for reading and leaving a lovely review,
Rhonda

What a frightening moment it is, when a mentor decides his student is ready to go on alone.
Love your thought provoking ideas:
'They have to learn to think outside the cage they were raised in.
'...captives of the mind.'
SPAG:
'Make sure the girls learn they(space) need...
Still enjoying where you might go with this!

Thank you LaRosa! I am glad you reviewed and found spag. Funny thing is that was a rewrite sentence and I guess I wasn't watching closely. Thanks so much,
Rhonda

All smiles here! I do it all the time
What's really frustrating is to correct someone else, then turn right around and do it myself! oh, well...

It's funny how we can see mistakes in other peoples' work more so than our own.

Another fine chapter,
Rhonda--and it's sort of like what certain politicians are using now, propaganda, to make the people believe whatever he wants them to, regardless of the facts.

Too true, and now Archie and the others are going to have to deal in truths, no matter how unpleasant that might turn out to be! Thanks for the review!

I love this story that talks about the importance of having wisdom, and not being afraid to express yourself or feel what is in your heart. Great work!
