Man, one day I hope to write as smooth as you. This is another fantastic piece of work. Obviously a piece I can relate to. Love the acorn metaphor and the them and photo.

First thing, the picture of smoldering roses is amazing. I think ol' Bill Shakespear would be real proud of this sonnet. I love that font and background, I'll be looking for that color scheme on my next poem. Good luck in the contest!

I think this is more than goodly good, pretty brilliant I think because it reads as if written many more years ago than I can count...sort of. It is a touch old worldly and the picture just adds very well to it. Very nice indeed and I thank you for the read...Dinah
