Daring! Do you cower at lightning now? All kidding aside, your poem adds excitement to an ancient story. Plus, you made me look up a word: singultus. I've added it to my list of favorite words, right before susurrus. The rhymes are enjoyable and the cadence is good.

Thanks very much, Kathy. Cower from lightning? As far as I know, I haven't ticked Zeus off lately ;-) Most grateful, Craig

Quite a good poem describing the Creation. Good rhyme and meter. I saw a bit of mixed meter thrown in which added interest to the beat. I've never seen the Creation told in such a short, clear way, but you did it very well. Excellent photo chosen.
I think God has had 'do overs' occasionally, such as the Great Flood and other times. We just never seem to get the message. 8-)
I'm sorry. I forgot to mention that I have never heard the work 'singultus' before. Interesting. Now I can make my hiccups seem classy by saying I'm 'singultusing.' lol

Next time I see you singultusing, I'll supply you with a nice glass of dioxide of hydrogen -- that will fix it :) Many thanks for the lovely review, Craig

LOL. Thanks.

Oops, my high school chemistry teacher would expel me. Water is dihydrogen oxide, not hydrogen dioxide :)

I enjoyed the poem but was confused at the end by the names used, which obviously mean more to the author than to me but I still gave it five stars as I enjoyed reading it.

A very well-written poem about the creation of heaven and earth and all on it by the great creator God whose intentions to make man was pure and right, the only mistake God made was to give man a free will.
