Your ability to use such descriptive, multisyllabic words in your poetry without missing a beat is just incredible. If you don't mind me asking - do you edit and rewrite a lot?

Haha, well, firstly, thanks for the terrific rating and lovely comments, Robbie. My usual plan of attack is I write them fairly quickly. This one took somewhere between 20-30 minutes, I guess. Then, after a quick check-over, I post it. Then the next step is I read it, and see all the silly errors - misspelled words, or wrong syllable stresses. Then it's a panic to fix it before too many people have read it lol

    Most grateful, Craig

Ha - I'm no stranger to the quick scramble to fix typos myself!!

I have enjoyed the King Arthur legends for ages and have always wished Mordred got whacked. Your story of a royal yard sale had me chuckling throughout and I am impressed with how you employed your "word of the day" so perfectly. Impressive use of the traditional ballad format, too. Well done! Rod

Thanks very much for the lovely comments, Rod; I really am grateful. I loved reading King Arthur as a boy, but felt a little cheated - I hate unhappy endings. Cheers, Craig
