What a sweet story, Sally! I like how you build up suspense because he's late but I also love how you fill in with the details of the menu! Hope the dancing was okay despite the walkers!

This is a sweet story, Sally :) I visit my uncle in his care home every Sunday. I can picture this story with any one of those sweet people in it. My uncle lost his wife a year and a half ago. It is sad to hear that some couples have to be separated in different care homes due to room availability. I think that is changing here in Alberta.
