Wonderful chapter and so interesting to read. You did a great job with all the action and the dialogue. I didn't see any mistakes to tell you about. Have a great day. Shirley

This provides a smooth, easy-flowing read. Personally, however, I think you're top-heavy on pronouns. I realize this is a first-person narrative, so you're going to have a fair share of I, my, and me.
With a first-person narrative, the narrator inhabits the fictive world. The reader knows that everything that is seen, heard, tasted, felt, smelled, and thought is a reflection of the narrator's experience. So, the author doesn't, and shouldn't without good reason, emphasize this fact. I think you've missed the opportunity to nix some. And to my mind, nixing some would improve the narrative.
Apart from that, this is neat writing.

A very well-written chapter and a great time with Helen and more revelations get out, apart from the intimate secrets that we do not share with anyone else but ourselves.

Oh, dear Charles. Will he regret telling Helen about MI6? A very tastefully done close encounter between the two. Will loose lips now sink ships? The reader will have to wait and see.

Thank you for your review of A Night to Remember, WryWriter. Glad the 'close encounter' was OK - not a form of writing that I'm especially familiar with! All the best, Tony

Wow, that was a brilliant, Tony, a large virtual six!! I'm glad that Charles has told Helen everything, now they can enjoy the feeling of honesty and trust between them ... and a lot more!!! lol. Helen really hit the nail on the head when she said he was getting the hang of the James Bond persona! lol. Well done, I can't wait to read more. :) Sandra xxx

This was a nice chummy yummy piece of reading. Well done Tony as usual. Keep up the good work can't wait to see where all this is going. Definitely the makings of a Mini-series or something.

Wow! A bit of a turn in another direction this time. Enjoyed the debauchery as well. No spags this time around. Keep up the good work. No sixes till Sunday I don't think.

Thanks, Louse. Nothing like a bit of debauchery to liven things up! All the best, Tony

Well, that was a steamy chapter. But I'm worried for Charles. Is Helen that trustworthy? She's being watched. Was it the right thing to do - to tell her everything? I guess we'll find out. I'm sure it would have been hard for Charles to resist!

Many thanks, Helen. I hope Charles's trust is not misplaced. If it is, he's in real trouble. All the best, Tony
