Certainly it is good advice to avoid getting sucked into the void, it might make me void my bowels in fear. I like the colourful presentation, set off well against the black hole.

Evil is a bit like that, all consuming.
It is a great little haiku, the syllables are bang on the visuals great, I just have one question; Have you deliberately written avoid (a void) as two words for affect ?

Hi, yes it was deliberate. The idea is that a black hole is sort of a void (hence the "hole" part), and anything unfortunate enough to get sucked in is going from "something to a void". In retrospect, probably not the best play on words, as I expect a lot of people will think it's a typo - thanks for asking, and for the kind comments :) Cheers, Craig

I was excited to see two posts by you. Then I thought, "Oh shoot. I bet it's a haiku, and he will win the contest." Sure enough that is exactly what I just read. It is certainly clever and original, and that has to count for a lot--even for a haiku where I don't know what counts.
