This ultra-concise prose piece is well-written, moving, and exuberant--
joyously hitting the high points of a wonderful, romantic life. The artwork
is lovely.

What a remarkable story. I love the way you have written a tiny glimpse of those precious moments of life as separate and unforgettable memories. Clever and original! Best of luck in the contest!

You chose five splendid minutes of togetherness to tell us the beautiful highlights of a lifetime of love and laughter. A couple must endure and overcome many obstacles along the way to reach fifty years of marriage, and their sense of humor may be an important positive factor. This post is a delight to read. Superb, and aptly illustrated.

Dear Sally,
Looking backwards it sometimes does feel like that. Time has an interesting phenomenon of either expanding or contracting. It is the seconds in between that sometimes count the most. I have always wondered why live is so short in comparison with Universe Time. Maybe when I die I will find out. Good short fiction, excellent choice of sentinel minutes that are well chosen.
Cheers,
Winslow

Fantastic! Beautiful! Time flies so quickly! Too many minutes are wasted on things like anger or regret! A positive and forgiving attitude is the only way to quickly move forward to the enjoyment of the minutes you can never get back. xoxo

Comment from Loren .
How fleeting it all seems. A whirlwind of memories flashing by like the landscape beyond the window of a traveling train/plane/automobile. You've summed it up so well and to cement it all is the loyal bond you shared with the love of your life. Not sure if this was written for your 50th, but if so congratulations and well-wishes for 50 more. Loren

Nicely done. A lifetime in 100 words. Good job. I like the ice cream events - that you could laugh together was an excellent sign. Golden anniversary - what is 60 - I can't remember. But there it is - your lifetime.
