It sounds like you know your rhinos! They are magnificent animals and should be left alone to to enjoy some peace, a fine nonet in tribute of the rhino, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Nine rhymed verses well written throughout its syllable counting structural format required and beautiful white wild rhyno's descriptive and narrative contest. Many wild animals are extinguishing today and also The Rhyno. A good job!

Great poem about the wonderful rhinoceros. He is so odd looking that it makes him look wonderful. He lumbers along, looking like a king. He looks so much like a direct descendent from a dinosaur. Your image complements your writing very well. Good luck in the contest!

I'm learning a lot about different animals through reading these contest entries. It is a very interesting and epic animal, but also a little scary. Best of luck in the contest.

Very good! Nice assonance in Massive and passive. The whole piece moves along nicely due to these tools. Not to mention that the message is fun! You have chosen really good words like pliant, etc. seriously well done!

Although I've never attempted to compose a nonet, I have to admire how you skillfully incorporated your rhyming words into the rhythm of your syllable count. And the rhino does seem to get slighted when it comes to poetry and children's books. I'm glad you gave him some recognition.

A great combination of rhyme, scheme, shape and image. Not a likely celebrity, but as written in this nonet the rhino rises to the distinction of a worthy contender for favorite. Good entry for this contest... ...ec
