Between Friends (Part-6 of 6)

Okay, Ric, two reviews in one.
In the first chapter, the setting was good, I don't like Oliva and it reminded me of a chapter in Proverbs. My only favorite part was when she was driving. Ha! I love the way you described her cutting off drivers, swerving, and running lights. Brad was such a baby.
For this last part...
I KNEW IT!!! Olivia was Aaron's date and I got that gut feeling when I was reading the previous chapter. And then the last line of part 6... what is wrong with Brad, Leslie, Olivia, and Aaron? Ha! No wonder its called 'Between' Friends. I was not expecting that! What a way to play it! But I wouldn't really call this young adult, it was more on the adult side. But I enjoyed it, even though I rarely, rarely read things like this.
And I realized that even if this was apart of a blind contest or something I'd recognize your voice. Your voice is very strong. I admire it. I hope you mask up and stay safe when you return to class on Tuesday.

I didn't realize you had read chapter five, which is probably okay. It might be too adult. Although, I tried to keep you in mind and leave out all the details when I was writing it. Thanks for another wonderful review and extra-special, six-star review. I'm always happy to read what you have to say. Thanks a million!

You're very very very welcome! Yeah, that's why I wrote the review for chapter five in the review for chapter six. But thanks for keeping me in mind Ric. You're welcome a million!!!! :)

Haha, what an ending and what a mess. I don't believe this is the end to this foursome's 'problems.' You did a good job telling this chapter. Everything fits. The ending was unexpected--which is good. You left this where you could continue the story later. I don't feel bad for any of the characters--they all had a part in the mess.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Yes, Jan, these four are just stumbling through life as many young people do. Old people too for that matter. LOL. I'm a sucker for the happily-ever-after endings, but with these four how could I make any predictions. Thank you so much for following along on this wild and crazy farce of a story, your kind words, and generous reviews. I appreciate YOU!

Hahahaha, Ric, so it's a farce all way round. I love it. What are the chances. But I wish there would be an ending. Will they all live happily ever after or do they all break up in a lover's tiff. Great stuff. Ulla:)))

Well, I must admit that I'm a sucker for the happily-ever-after endings myself. So, I did try to give a few hints that things would all work out wonderfully. But, as most all of us have learned in life, there are no guarantees, and forever can be years, a month, or even one lousy day. LOL. Thank you so much for another of your wonderful reviews, the kind words, and extra-special, six-star review! Most of all, just hope you enjoyed my complete farce. LOL.

It's a great story!

Thank you very much! It's not for everyone, or even on our own preferred reading list, I just wanted a change of pace. Appreciate You!

Hi don. you are on the right track as far as farce and humorous writing is concerned. lots of good stuff in here, like:
"Brad's expression resembles a sneaky-twerp kid who should've been hiding in the corner, straining not to poop his pants. The phony nonchalance rendition only accentuates his frayed hysteria. "
Good job, my friend. :) Bob

Thank you so much, Bob, for kind words and generous review. This one was way outside my comfort zone and I'm glad to have it over with. Thanks for hanging in there with me through this spoof that isn't really on either of our preferred lists. I appreciate YOU!

What a twist, I didn't see that coming at all. That both couples had history was unusual and surprising. Very nice job. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe and stay healthy.

Thank you so much, Earl Corp, for coming back for another dose of my silly story. This farce isn't for everyone, maybe not even me, but I hope it put a smile on a few faces. I appreciate your kind words and generous review!

What a heck of a story. Of all women he could've picked up, he would have to choose his best friend's fiance, lol. Poor guy went through hell there for a bit, lol. I actually felt sorry for him. Think his fainting spell saved him. Your twist at the end, Leslie's news, what a surprise. Your story is well-written, very interesting start to finish. Your character's action, their dialogue seems believable. I look forward to reading what you come up with next.

Thank you so much, Misty Dawn, for hanging in there throughout this almost ridiculous farce. As far fetched as this goofy story might sound, there is more truth in it than I would ever admit to. LOL. I'm glad you liked it and I hope it put a smile or two on your face. I appreciate your constant support, kind words, and extra-special, six-star review!
-
I thought it might have a little truth to it. Lol. Live and learn, right?
-
LOL. Now what makes you think I was inexperienced, naive dummy?
-
I didn't say that. What I meant was that I could see you getting yourself into sticky situations. Through no fault of your own, of course lol.
-
Well, you should have said it, I was the dummy. And truthfully, I grew up fast over those three days. LOL.
Comment from Raffaelina Lowcock
You might say OMG. This is quite the complicated mixture of history. Brad is squirming and sweating about his foray with Olivia and meantime who would have thought? This is really an interesting situation. Well done.
LOL Ralf

I enjoyed reading this. I don't like the idea of this ending here. I want a happy-ever-after, but you have left us to our own imagination. That's not necessarily a good thing. LOL It's really good short story. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much, Barbara Wilkey, for hanging with this almost ridiculous at times farce throughout. Like you, I always prefer the happily-ever-after endings, but I hope I showed a big enough spark between Brad and Leslie to spur imaginations. I appreciate your kind words, comments, and generous review!
