Nice rhyming and you create a nice word mosaic describing the beauty of fallen leaves. I would have preferred switching the first and third lines, connoting a feeling of silence as the leaves slowly fade to dust. Just my opinion. Enjoyed the read and the picture.

Thank you! I do agree that autumn gives us a time to breathe in changes that are so visible ... before the grinding halt of winter cast forth long hours of darkness.

Maybe have a look at your presentation here. There's nothing wrong with having coloured font but it's bordered in black against a background of off-white and doesn't look great.
I like the sentiments expressed within the piece itself and the syllable count is spot on
