A laptop for his poet wife to share her expertise I love that line and how you rhymed it with skis. Other than that I guess you were a pirate stealing from the rich and giving to the not-so-rich. I am not sure what I think of this but it rolls along so well that I suppose it was the best thing for your family not to know the true idea of where the gifts really came from. So happy Christmas to all!

Thank you for the great review, Jesse. I was just in one of those silly moods again. I had this dumb idea and just went with it. Lol. I really appreciate the stars, friend. I hope you have yourself a fantastic Christmas and upcoming new year.

I was fooled again! I am always surprised by your foolishness and yet I liked the idea in a weird sort of way.
This was very poetic in its own way.
Have a happy holiday as well!

Thank you for the great review, Dolly. Did you make it to the humorist twist at the end, how he got all these gifts he had to offer? I appreciate the generous stars, Dolly. I'm glad you liked the piece.

No biggie. It's just that the guy was following delivery drivers in rich neighborhoods and stealing packages off of porches. That's how he managed to give so many presents. Lol. I was just being silly again. Have yourself a great Christmas, Dolly.

I wondered where the Narrator got all the money to buy such singular gifts for each family member. He appears to be a modern Robin Hood, robbing UPS deliveries from the rich to give to the more deserving. Good description of what he gave each member and why. Rod

I just found out this morning that a gentleman at church comes and cleans the outside of the church sets up a area for the sharers of refreshments. These sometimes unnoticed things define kindness and generosity, quietly, that's what God truly appreciates. Well done, a wonderful ballad style, free flowing, articulate post, well done, blessings Roy

I misread this the first time. i thought it was just festive, but then I re-read those last few stanzas. LOL. I actually found this really funny, and I think that it will do well in the contest if the judges have a sense of humor. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.
