All I can do, is smile. This is incredible. I am so happy to read this. Exceptional work. I believe every word of this work. Looking back with age, and knowing you lived the way you wanted. Great job and well-written. I will suggest, you maintain this writing style. It then becomes your trademark. Good artwork.

This sends a good message of how we should each get away from our normal life long enough to examine our lives and try to understand what we are and if we are where we want to be. To discover if we will be able to look back on our life and be proud of how we lived it.

I love the "PILGRIM" concept for life. We are just passing through this world on our way to the next. Very well written. I enjoyed the read.
Blessings

You have a very nice flow and balance to your poem. I believe your message in this piece is very true. If you have not had the life you desired, why are you here? The time goes by so quickly, we should feel contentment and joy with the knowledge that we have done what we were suppose to do and have expressed our passion to the fullest in this 'quest'. I wish you well, GW.

Great job on the poem. I wandered from the photograph you used if you and been in the military, so it wasn't a surprise to me to see it in your bio. You are so right, we only have one life to live and we all need to be true to who and what we are.

I nice statement of a life lived on ones own terms, the only way to live a life. A great illustration that goes perfectly with the piece, a submarine that can ride the surface and also explore the depths. mikey

Too many lament that life happened to them. Such a mindset relieves the sorrowful ponderers of accepting responsibility for their fates. This character looks down the long line of his life, satisfied with his choices. In the end, if we are not our own best friends, we may be reduced to solitary immersion. Thoughtful write. I enjoy the cadence and flow. Line lengths fit nicely. Poetic free verse. be well,

It is important that a man be his own man, and I believe you express this well; this, once accomplished allows one to choose his friends with knowledge. Kenny

I never reviewed you before, but it was a very pleasant find. You lived your life to the fullest and without regrets. I hope to read more from you.
