A great chapter. I hope that mother-in-law really mess' up and gets arrested or something. This poor girl deserves a break. She needs some space to grow a backbone. The baby should bring that out in her. Good story,Barbara.

The scene with Troy and Anna was very tender and very natural, excellentshifts of emotion and understanding. Good detail on the hepatitis and how it's contracted. A very good job.

You've done a good job with this, Barbara. Ignorance is a real problem with most chronic communicable diseases. Most aren't all that easy to catch if you use a little caution. Believable reactions by all your characters. :) Nancy

You have done a good job of conveying the Hep B information in layman's terms and still keeping the dialogue reasonably natural.
I guess part of me is wondering whether the high-minded man that Troy seems to be would have waited so long to tell Anna the truth...

Anna got another big shock-two even. Bad thing happening in the court case and the scare that Troy could have infected her little boy and kept a secret from her. Fortunately Troy finds her quickly and can explain, I think she will accept his explanation.
Bigger question how will it progress in court after this after the recess.
