Marisa,
Perhaps this was written when all others were sleeping, but it is interesting and engaging. There is so much data presented that it makes my head hurt this early in the morning. As a veteran of forty-seven years of marriage to the same woman, I think I can safely say that most of the dysfunctions you have listed for both male and female have arisen at one time or another. Each has caused difficult times, but our determination not to destroy our marriage has given us the strength to work through each situation.
Sheron is not only my wife, she is my best friend. Thanks for challenging my thought process this morning.

Curtis,
You inspire me with your solid relationship ... I think there are many more out there just like you and your wife, I honestly do.
Glad you found the humor in this piece. Satire is one of my favorite forms of self-expression.

Wow, got my attention from the first line to the last.
This is what I called a food for thought poem...meaning after you read it you go Hmmm.
Thank you for sharing this interesting write.

I'm happy you enjoyed the read. I do tend to gravitate toward satire to express my thoughts and opinions. I think it helps to lend a large helping of humor to the human condition now and then. We need to laugh at ourselves more often.
I agree with you I laugh at myself all the time.
Your very welcome, until next time my friend.

This piece is so true to form in terms of far too many relationships. Although it may have been the wee hours of the morning when you wrote this; you've hit the nail right on the head by breaking down relationship factors. This is an excellent piece, your words certainly ring true for both male and female viewpoints. Expertly written, so appreciatively received.

Thanks. I am happy you enjoyed this piece. I may poke the bear occasionally with some over the top satire, but it is only to interject some humor into what can be a way to serious subject.
The man woman saga will live on, but if we can laugh at ourselves from time to time, it might just bring some badly needed balance back.
