I had a smile when I read about the rag-and-bone man and recycling. It reminded me of my childhood in Kenya where we had similar entrepreneurs called chupa-na-debe man - bottles-and-tins man, who collected all bottles and gallon tins that had been filled with oil or paraffin.
And now I can't wait to know all about Bangkok. Another terrific chapter, Tony. Nothing to fault at all.
