That was a surprise! I didn't give that a thought. Well, that certainly explains a lot but I can't see it ending there. Helen will hopefully find her way and get out of Jeanne's clutches, because I still think there is something about her that is wrong, evil, even. This was a really good chapter, Tony! Well done. :)) Sandra xxx

Thanks for the read and review, Helen. It looks as if Charles may soon be joining you in England. All the best, Tony

Oh, dear! I've just finished writing Chapter 36 and have Helen on the brain! Apologies!

Hi Tony, Ahhh, see now that makes a lot of sense with regards to Helen's sexual orientation. That does explain the cryptic behaviour. But is it all. The scene in Montmartre with Kayla and Andre was brilliantly written. And now Charles is roaring through France towards London. I wonder what will happen next. I wish I had a six to give this. All best. Ulla:))

Hi, Tony,
Such a delicious continuation of the story. I think your characters are so well developed that I can actually see them.
Poor Charles. What is he to do now that he is on his own again?
I can't help but wonder how long it will be before he encounters the women again.
Great job - I look forward to the next installment.
BTW - a few of the prose writers have joined a Prose Posse. We are fanning one another and then reading the posts of anyone who posts - it is the only fighting chance we have against the numbers in the poetry category.
So far, Rob Caudle and Sarkems have been the most faithful to the promise - I propose it each time I read something by a writer I'm not familiar with or who isn't already in my fan list,
