Oh my God, what a story, Rachelle. This was great. I was so absorbed in it. I couldn't quite figure where it was going. I thought it odd that Lila was given flashlights if wolves are drawn to light, but I just dismissed it. Great characters make a great story and you had them. Ingenious.

Thank you. It's always nice when a sociopath can be outsmarted...even by her own mother...even when it causes her death...Do you think I need to see someone about these dysfunctional family stories I can't seem to stop writing, chas?!

You created well-defined characters and you set the scene well. I loved the 'game,' and your explanation of why the Mom could act so well.
