Haha, oh, this is just too good, Janet.
If this isn't a contender for top prize I'd be really surprised.
Not only is it a well composed haiku with two grammatically connected lines in one and two, a "kigo", or seasonal implication of spring and summer with the blooming of the lovely lavender, but the double entendre in the satori line is pure genius and a work of art.
Now, why didn't I think of this, heh-heh?
Best wishes to you in the final judging.

Thank you Dean for your encouraging and generous sixth star review. I always love to hear from you and I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this one. You are so kind. It's also great to read a review from someone who knows haiku and its requirements.
It was fun to write and to remember those lavender fields.

A great play on words. I love the smell of lavender and it does have therapeutic qualities. I also would love to go to Italy and take it all in. This is a wonderful contest entry and the color fits of course. Best of luck in the contest.

Your witty little poem is flawless, but then I know to expect nothing less from you. The kigo is implied, the kire leads wonderfully to your clever satori. Best of luck in the contest.

Now that is one beautiful, creative and clever piece of writing. I think you have a fantastic chance of winning with this one. The accompanying artwork is also perfect.
Obviously there are no errors. Well done!
A gorgeous haiku.

I can smell the lavender! LOL! The emphatic line made me smile. Beautiful artwork choice for this theme. I'd love to have some wild lavender growing in my yard. Good job on this one!

This is lovely. The artwork and color are excellent for playing up the lavender flowers. Your third line is lively with a clever pun. A Roma therapy. I like that. Best of luck in the Haiku poetry contest. judi

This poem has a little purple in it. Ah, to be in Rome when the Lavender blooms. The closest I'll get will be an Iris in the front yard. This is very well-written.
Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day and God bless.

This is very calming and effective. A beautiful presentation and the poem is structured well. It is original and I like the pun "a Roma therapy." The purples work nicely together and so does the clear picture. It incorporates many of the sense. A very intriguing and clever poem with much value.

Love the use of the last line's separation and incorporation. I can almost smell the lavender fragrance in this poetic submissions read. Greatly appreciated. Thank you for Sharing your Gifts and insight in this Haiku.

This is a beautiful picture of lavender which goes with the haiku well. I think the pun in the last line is a good touch with a Roma (from Rome)
and aroma therapy.
Good luck and keep writing
