Wow, this was revelatory. I still think Kayla has poor taste in associations, so I am wondering if her assessment of Alain Gaudin is accurate. I trust Charles in those character issues, fuddy-duddy that is. A good installment with constant twists and turns. Their term, "ring her up" just slays me. LOL!

Very many thanks, Sally, for your review of Stumblebum. I appreciate your positive comments. I eventually bent to popular pressure and changed 'ring her up' to 'call her'! Actually, he texted her - so not quite such a Luddite as he seems! LOL Best wishes, Tony
