"Your Halo", is is an exceptionally well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. This talented poet's work was a privilege to both read and review. To me, this is definitely a six. I look forward to seeing your next post.

I enjoyed your free verse for the club. Your lines flow smoothly with great imagery. The art choice is a good fit for your well-chosen words, too. I like that you paid tribute to the first responders who are at ground zero as are hospital workers. Together, with faith, we will defeat this virus. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

My favorite part was, "Such a privilege it is to see
the embodiment of Christ
that surrounds you like a halo.
Your selfless giving of time
and talents while being at
such uncertain risk shines in you.", because it Glorifies God by showing appreciation and gratitude for His Servants! I'm in a ministry called Marked Men for Christ and we do this thing where we share with our brothers The Light of Christ we see in them and it blesses me so much! When all my brothers got on one knee in front of me and looked me in the eye and told me The Light of Christ they saw in me it almost made me cry it touched me so much!

I like the fact that this comes across (to me) as a call to arms--not in a shield-pounding, boot-stomping battle cry, but a gentle prodding to shed light on the darkness.

This is really well done, Jim. Our healthcare workers and others who brave going to work in these scary times are wearing their halo. May they and the rest of us stay safe. We'll get through this. Marilyn

Your daughter and the other healthcare workers are pros. They're doing a great job and must be exhausted. Blessings to her. Marilyn

In my opinion, a striking reminder of those who serve humanity every day, challenging themselves to perform and function despite the potential threat to themselves, given persistent shortages in vesture - in smoothly and warmly rendered free verse...

What a gorgeous poem about healthcare workers and God's mighty light shining through them like a halo. Sometimes we have trying days, we really need to realize that we're in this trying time together. Talking to Jesus in prayer helps.

You are so right! Everyone that is able to help another person in need should do so. Those are good words to live by, even without this crisis, but now more than ever for sure.
