These have been like a checklist that I do for myself so I don't lose sight that I am a sinner. No, not easy for anyone. I always try to remember that whenever I feel I have it under control, that is when I know that I am in trouble and time for a check up again.

This is a very well-written poem about your faith. I think the key to understanding your message is that it's personal. You're not preaching to your readers about what they need to do. You're simply observing what your faith has meant and done for you.
Ultimately, when our time runs out, our individual experience is all that matters. Very well done. Terry.

I found a few places where I would have written differently, like the last line verse one replacing what is with should be. Small stuff but I suspect it comes to how one reads each line. It's fine as is.

Tom, this is so strange, but I read it like you suggested time after time and still wrote it the other way. I think because when we look at something long enough we lose objectivity. So in these quick prompts we don?t get to step away long enough. I guess what I'm trying to say is thank you so much for being my objective! You are awesome. But then you already knew that! Lol.
