This is such a sweet and heartfelt tribute (I think) to your late sister. And you completely capture the sense of nature's continuity against the personal sorrow that refuses to diminish. Beautifully structured, metered and rhymed, this is a virtual six from me. Thanks for sharing, Jess. Take care Debbie

This is beautiful and tragic. The sorrow and the love are touching. Your form flows smoothly, and the emotions are complex. The title sums up the poem perfectly.

A beautifully crafted poem and it really tells the lasting effects of both love and grief. Two subjects very difficult to put into words at times but you did it here. Thanks for sharing your work. Good job.

Simply beautiful, Jess.
And so incredibly moving.
Tomorrow marks the 101st anniversary of my mother's birth: February 27, 1923.
So many of your lines are evocative of her; how I dearly miss her...
Thank you ever so much for sharing this beautiful tribute...
Fondly,
diane
