Jesse, I hear you!! Great poem. Much wisdom can be gained through your words. It takes a lot of courage to lead, but the benefits and rewards are worth taking on the responsibility. Take care, Daniel

Thanks, Daniel, for your encouraging review.
Agreed, it takes a lot of courage to lead, but the benefits for everyone work wonders. The rewards outweigh the risks making it worth taking.
    Enjoy the evening.

I get the feeling from your well composed poem that we need to pass on to the next generation the knowledge that we have gained in our lifetime. To hoard knowledge is a sin.

You are correct. We must pass on our knowledge to the next generation. Hoarding knowledge may not be a sin but it is wasteful.
Thanks for your provocative review. I appreciate your kind words of encouragement.

This a an excellent philosophical poem which conveys a great message. I really enjoyed this and the image was beautiful. Gives lovely positive vibes to the theme. Well done and thanks for sharing. We for sure can all learn a thing or two from one another, and open up to share knowledge wouldn't that be amazing
Best Wishes
Nicky

I particularly like the mantra of "each one teach one." Wouldn't it be amazing if we could all abide by that rule? Then we have the need to work together in harmony, assertiveness and without hesitation. This is a great creed, Jesse, especially in the school setting, but also for us all. Well done! Debbie

Yes, it is good in the school setting but also life, in general.
You ask an amazing question that I was hoping would be asked by anyone who reads this poem. Creed or mantra, it works.
    Thanks for your support, Debbie.
    Enjoy the day.

You have a smooth beautiful poetic form that strengthens your theme. I like the pic of the pod of dolphins, it fits your words perfectly. Your words have meaning, especially for today's world.

Thanks for liking the pod of dolphins as a choice for my picture for this theme of mine. Yes, the words have meaning and hopefully you understand them completely. We have always needed folks to choose each one teach one as their philosophy.
    Enjoy the evening.

I like that saying..."each one teach one. We can all be educators if we follow this philosophy.
I like this free form poem. The way it flows, the way it's set up.
You've done very well here. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I like it! Yes, we have so my to gain from learning from one another. We volunteer teach English as a Second Language and we learn just as much from our students as we teach them new expressions and words.

Thanks, Helen, for this positive review. I am glad you volunteer teaching English as a second language. The idea that you learn from each other is fantastic!
Keep paying it forward, my friend.

I agree with your philosophy, but sometime we need to follow -- why reinvent the wheel, so to speak. =) In a general sense, I agree-- united we stand, divided we fall. Thus it behooves us to be one for all and all for one-- "each one teach one." Well said.

If we make friends while leading our fellow folk that is a sidebar event. The reason to teach each other is to help them learn what we already know. Passing on knowledge will make our lives richer and fuller than existing in ignorance.
I am glad you enjoyed this poem.

-Nice image and presentation, Jesse.
-Your note is appreciated.
-A very good message in your poem.
-I agree that we need to have a
philosophy of togetherness,
looking out for each other, as
opposed to singling an individual or group
out for something you don't like.
-I like your combination of "demonstrate" and "hesitate."
-A good image: "reach past the sun."
-A very good motto at the end.
-Thanks for sharing it.

Thanks, Pam, for this detailed and encouraging review. You cover all the bases and do it with panache as you know how to review like the best of them.
I wish I had a reviewing contest vote to offer but I have none left.
I am happy you agree with this motto and hope we can learn by doing by paying it forward.
    Enjoy the upcoming weekend.
