A very emotional chapter but it flowed well. I think Anna needs to make a decision now and not doubt when this man is trying to help her. Staying with the rogue will only lead to worse beatings.

Well this is a great start if Bobby doesn't get to Anna first AND if she follows through. Thank goodness for decent people who are willing to help and ask the right questions to help her get her thinking straight.

A good filler of details chapter. Troy didn't have an easy childhood so this must make him more sympathetic. Hopefully Troy's dad can help out, from his questions, he sounds confident.

Since it's from hospital, consider - "discharged". "released" sounds like from prison.
