I'll be surprised if Anna headed to her parents. One of the first things an abuser does is find a way to distance the woman (or man depending) from their family. This is an excellent chapter. Well written.
Congrats on making it through the school year. That was a miracle considering what you went through.

This is another excellent chapter. Troy's approach with
Mr. Keller made it so much easier for Mr. Keller to give
out information about Anna as Troy never really asked him
a question. That subtle approach is often very effective.

I missed more days because of dr's appointments and my second surgery, but only 3.5 days because I couldn't go in. The half a day, I went in hoping as the day went on I'd feel better, but only got worse. Thank you for the kind review.
