Thanks for the review did you play the Midi file?

This works well even though there is music for it, but the words need to carry their own weight for those of us who don't listen to it. The word ...it's...doesn't need an apostrophe either. Nice artwork.

Your Christmas song is well-written and sincere, urging the world to know who Jesus is and why He came.
2. "Its" neede no apostrophe.
3. Why the hyphens?

Thanks Janice I hyphenated to indicate syllable break up in singing but I can remove them, after all this is the poem not the song I have added the music though.

Janice thanks for the help fixed up the "it's" that was wrong and left the other onewhioch was short for "it is" I also removed the hyphens appreciate your review.

well done. A much needed message any time of year. Thanks for the clear presentation of the gospel and the invitation to salvation. I especially like the third verse:
3.The World has blot-ted Christ from Christ-mas
Is He just an "X" in there to you?
Who cares if it's origins were some-thing else;
Jesus came to give life to You!
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much the music director at our church at the time was the one to say it was a good song for any time of year. maybe we are heading to publishing one of these days. Written in 2003.

A true story of Jesus who died for our living and living righteous, He will come back in us, the real order is to remember his causal sacrifice to the cause of mankind and to appreciate the Christmas then, good reminder. 05/725

A worthy response to the secular progressive movement.
This is an appropriate Faith Poetry Contest entry.
A song and poem as well.
Well written overall.

Thanks for the encouragement. I also appreciate the statement re the "secular progressive movement. I do have some more of these I wrote for exactly the reason you are expressing. Can go into more detail if you wish. Thanks again.

You are welcome, my pleasure.
"In God we trust."
-
Yes we still do trust Him..even "Down Under" Pity the radicals would not accept that more.
-
There is always the other down under
they one day may have to accept.

Oh me! Ain't that the truth.

This is a song poetry then, that you painted well in lilting words to express and hammer the message that Jesus did die for us, so we can be saved, But the havoc of modernization, sometimes make people forget, and your poem, make the readers remember and to reflect once more, that Jesus was born to die for us. Good job, God bless.

Thanks so much for your very accurate response and review. This was the fourth in a collection of Carols I wrote..but this one was written much more recently than the other three. Thanks again.
