You've invaded and personified (justly) my era this time. Dancing was cheek to cheek and romance was the main (only) theme. Emotional, and great reading (iambics) and a nice tribute to the era and the players. Kenny

not yet - desperately trying to finish my second book which certainly doesn't lend itself to frivolity at any level. Am hopeful something crosses my beleaguered mind.

So much, so densely-woven ... immaculate versification (this is a "given" with you!) and a brilliant evocation of those divine moments when the song, the girl and the mood are all just right ... and Mr. Porter and Mr. Sinatra are up there in the League of Superheroes!

this is very well written, marillion, I love those songs and love the old movies with doris day and fred Astaire. I loved the movie no no Nanette with the great music and acting.
