I have been wished merry Christmas by all faiths from many countries this year. I believe everyone has the human right to follow their own faith or none in peace and happiness. A non description holiday serves no one.

I can totally see this being sung by a choir. It's a fine song, not just a poem in disguise. I'm not a fan of "thru" instead of "through." Not sure what "vamp out" means either. So, other than those two minor quibbles I really liked it. Happy New Year!

I must say I find your note is hardly explanatory. On the contrary it seems to muddy the waters further. The fact that political correctness is undesirable is used by you as an excuse to use Merry Christmas as a taunt etc. Later you say it should never be construed this way. This seems totally contradictory. However it is the lyric I am reviewing, which doesn't mention Christmas at all, and actually does capture the essential nature of Christmas as far as peace on earth and goodwill etc. are concerned. But to remove the reason behind it, a celebration of the incarnate nature of the Christian God is as insulting to Christians as saying to a Muslim that Ramadan and Id should not be mentioned by name.

I like your song lyric and am rating it as excellent but I totally fail to grasp your confused logic.
