Barbara,
The pot keeps boiling, but the pages won't turn any more. I enjoyed reading this chapter and couldn't find anything to criticize.

Hi Barbara:)
From one cliffhanger to another. All the while since Bobby shoved Anna into her apartment, her friends have been on the outside wanting to be inside as Ann faces crisis after crisis. At least they know Bobby is dead now. He can never hurt Anna again, but the real suspense keeps elevating as the doctors try to save Anna.
The dialog among her friends sounds realist as they try to hold hope. Now, it's Code Blue, a sure sign that a patient's heart has stopped beating. Is it Anna? If so can it be restarted.
I feel like I;m right there with Anna and working with the doctors to save he. Please don;t make me wait too long.
Love and Irish Hugs for this six-star chapter,
Roger

Another great chapter. The reader's heart goes out to Troy and the others as they wait patiently to hear some good news about Anna. The suspense has me on the edge of my seat, and left guessing whether or not Anna will survive, because we know that Michael will be well cared for by his surrogate grandparents as well as Troy. Again, the long reaching tentacles of abuse are still trying to wrap themselves around so many who are affected because of this one person,Bobby. You can't help but dislike this man and all abusers. Great job.

Dang, I don't know what code blue means, but if nurses and doctors are running into the recovery room, I doubt if its a good sign :(
Excellent as always :)
Cheers,
Raz

It looks like Anna still has a long way to recover. Bobby really messed with her. Troy sounds very concerned. It appears that they are worried that Rodgers might have friends who will continue his vendetta.

I'll give it five stars for writing skills. You write well, however, I'm not a huge fan of romance novels. My opinion of writing material doesn't really matter though. You're writing is what matters. Good job.

Thank you for the stars. I understand that personal preferences are different. I don't like thrillers or fantasy. Thank you.

barbara,
Oh boy! Is this a cliffhanger or what? Your story always keeps the reader interested and wanting to find out what happens next. Good work.

Wow. There's a lot of sappiness in this chapter. Everything's sugary sweet and personal relationships tested. On paper it sounds so cliched but these experiences are real. They happen every day. There is no way to go into personal conversations and not having it seem over-the-top. Very nice work.

Hi, Barbara. I've been away for a while, but was able to pick up on the story line very quickly with this (part) chapter. Your writing is still very descriptive, and you make good use of dialogue. The emotions are strong as are the characters.
Warmest regards, Marijke :o)

We're going to hope the crash card isn't for Anna, but that was a good place to break, Barbara. Well written with no SPAGs. I like the continued worry that this isn't over yet. :) nancy
