A very well-written tanka. The empty bell tower keeps the night silent and the pigeons have a peaceful home. Wind chimes call us for meditation.

Very good tanka poem. With the bell tower lacking bells it is the wind chime pigeons to roost in piece and the night to remain quite..and the wind chime's sound softer allows one to center their thoughts. Comparing bells in the tower to the soft sound of a wind chime. Excellent and thanks for sharing. Kat

Love the creative peronsificaiton of the bell tower. Love the phonetics with the PO and S sounds as well and as L and W. Sounds lovely read aloud, fine flow. Fine tone to match the theme. Love the meditative and alliterative pivot, too!
