This is a great Halloween poem and has a lovely rhythmic flow to it making it very easy on the ear. While I enjoyed it very much, I don't think it will disturb my sleep. I'm sure this will do well in the contest but good luck anyway.

What a fun poem! I see you felt the need to put a warning on it for violence! What a bunch of wimps people have turned out to be! I find this no more frightening than Little Orphan Annie's goble'uns and actually more imaginative and entertaining.

Not sure I found the joke - but the idea that starting at the screen captures your mind comes through to me - cuz that's what happens in many cases. We're mesmerized by looking at u-tubes, blogs, etc etc.

This is an engaging poem and an excellent contest entry. It is well written and the rhyme scheme is well executed. I loved the last line. It capped off the whole piece perfectly and for that reason I gave it the extra star.
