This is quite clever and very well thought out. Those moths would indeed look like those fairies of fantasy hovering around the fire. I like the way you've presented this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

Thanx so much for the review, Jeffrey -- your support is always so wonderful and I am forever grateful!! ;)
I do so apologize for the tardiness (and cut-and-pastiness!) of this response, I have been (still am!) in the midst of converting everything to online learning for the mandated school closings for the foreseeable future. Once I get ?ahead? in this ?change of venues? (i.e., instruction in cyberspace ? lol!), I promise to be back to ?me? in my responses? you know, the crazy blonde fantasy chick! ;) ;)
Be safe and, remember, if you see any offerings/reviews from me, they are my ?escape? from this insanity? you know, my pressure release valve!! ;) ;)
Take care of you and we?ll be sailing smoothly again in a few more days? hopefully!

-Very nice image
and presentation, Yvette.
-A good topic and well
written cinquain.
-Effective imagery and
alliteration.
-I like how the poem goes
from dainty fairies to
"mere moths."
-Well done; good luck in the contest.

You are very welcome, Yvette. I can't imagine the work involved with putting everything on line. I wonder if you do that weekly or more, and if the students work at their own pace or just for the week. Hope it smooths out soon.
