Barbara,
Finally, some action. This is excellently written, without any nits that I could see, but I must admit that the story held me and some minor blemishes might have gone unnoticed.

I was worried about this chapter, because I write romance not action so I was worried it wouldn't work. I have about three more action posts before we find out if Cassie is rescued or not. I am worried I can't pull it off. Thank you for your very kind review.

The action was well done. I could feel the tension all the way through the scene as Joe and the men stormed the house. Anxious to see the next installment!

An excellent chapter full of action which made absorbing reading. Now I think the young girl Cassey will be rescued and returned to her mother. I'm beginning to wonder where you will take the story from there.
It's so good to know you are making good progress with your treatment. Wishing you the best of luck.

This was a very exciting and you described the action very well. I am glad that you are able to continue with the story while taking the treatments. I am looking forward to the next chapter to the story and also to your essay telling about your treatments. I admire your determination to continue the work on your story while undergoing the treatments. I will remember you in my thoughts and prayers.

A great chapter. You literally grab hold of the reader's interest and hold it to the end. The suspense maintained in this action=-illed chapter was excellent. One cannot help but wonder, what is going to happen next.

as usual, you have caught me up in your story line and i will hate to see this end. you're like my favorite author, Sharon Sala that writes as Dinah McCall also. i can't get enough of her writing or yours. if you ever need me to promote a chapter for you, just let me know and I will. God bless you and keep you strong

The character Cassie, though incredibly soft and endearingly gentle, creative and spontaneous, I feel she has a strength that has yet to surface in full blown proportion. I like the intrigue so far...

Hi Barbara - I'm thinking about lending you Dax! This is getting so riveting. I've chosen not to ask often how you are, but I want you to know that I do think about you. You are on the prayer list of two churches I go to, so about 250 Episcopal folks are praying for you ever week. Warm regards, Bill

barbara.wilkey,
You continue to write at professional level. Strong narrative and dialogue in an emotional write as the men try to get the release of Cassie. Well done as always.

Your novel is excellent it is filled with suspense and emotion. This chapter is a wonderful continuation of the earlier ones. I hope Cassie turns out to be in the house and that Joe is able to rescue her. I send you my prayers, and wish you well. God Bless you, my friend.
