This sounds like problems all around all the good people in your story. And Michael found just on his own, what will that cause? Just now the friends of the family(Anna and Michael) discussed they had enough evidence to start a law suit.

It kept me in suspense the whole time

Wow Barbara, now the story has exploded, leaving the reader much like Paul and Everett. Waiting and hoping all will be ok with Anna.

This chapter is the kind that puts the reader on the edge of their seat. So full of drama and mystery. Naturally, we are all hoping Anna is safe and that this will put an end to all this madness and Bobby.

Awaiting More! I am by no means an expert at this, but what comes to mind, if there are so many cops, why no police line or crowds and the two men being stopped before they even got close to the officer with the baby. Just a little off on that part for what I envisioned in my mind as I read this. You pay great attention to detail. A good read, Well done and thank you for sharing with us all.

Sigh, at least so far the baby is safe. Now we're in for a stand off with the bigger folks. Gosh, I sure hope everything is going to be all right. The only way this can end is with him dying. Then there are no worries ever again.
