The picture you chose is very beautiful. I would hope that we would wake, but only God knows the answer to that. We would hope to have more days with our loved ones. We would also hope to know God more every day that He gives to us and to know His will for us. As you said, we are in God's hands. . .Sharon

You pose a question that should cause each of us to stop and ponder deeply. I wonder how many people who gaze upon the wonders of creation and are grateful for what we see and experience. How many of us are grateful enough to even give thanks on occasion?

You ask if we'll survive? Don't know, but I'd bet against it. For such a short poem you make one ponder: What's the purpose? Your questions lead to just more questions. Very thought provoking. Les

Indeed, GW, we all are in God's hand. This said so well in so few words. Neat contrast from the calm ocean to the angry looking clouds.
Well done...

Oooh, This is an unsettling thought. Yes it really isn't up to us is it? Nice alliteration of the letters l, w, and e.
the art work is breath taking.

There are so many metaphors in creation used in writing or any creative pursuit, I particularly like the picture that gives impetus to the meaning and the narrative, I liked this short work, which has much meaning, not least, just waking up each morning! Well done, blessings, Roy.
