Thank you so much for sharing this. It is a beautiful well-written story which contains the story of the birth of Jesus on that long ago Christmas. You have a great imagination, telling the story from the animals' point of view. The real meaning of Christmas is in your story - the time of giving the best of ourselves.

Wow, I love this story that I've never known, of Jesus and Mary and how he was born! The stable friends helped lay a bed for the babe, and Mary to rest on Christmas day! Animal characters are good fun! I loved each and every one! The little mice having a story read to them by their parents makes a wonderful gift for children! Have a marvelous day,
Jesse

Why in God's name is this not a book? You should right away, pursue an entire series of children's books using these wonderful stories. We have far too many stories about death, destruction, heartbreak and despair. It is far time that the market for books was introduced to stories that warm the heart, and brings a smile to the eyes and mouth. Well done my dear friend.

Aw, Bless your heart, dear Nomi, what a lovely review. I'm so very pleased you liked this one. Thank you so much! And a big hug for the sixth star. I would like to have it published one day, I'll have to look into it. It would be nice if I could get it illustrated. Thank you, my dear friend. Love and hugs. Sandra. xxx

This is an excellent Christmas telling of the birth of our Savior! I just love these little mice and all the pictures...just warmed my heart. Amid all the smut and indecent things literature has become - you are a shining star.
This was a break in my morning that has spurred me on to hone my writing. Just glorious work here.

This has made my Christmas and my day. It has not been a good day today but this has made it so much better. Thank you. Does this mean more capers? I hope so as I did look forward to them but, as a writer myself, I realise you must move on lol. Thank you, once again, for sharing and have a great Sunday.

Aw, thank you! It was because you asked me about them that I wrote it. I have another Christmas story that I've written as a poem and in prose. They are very long!! I might still put one version on.
Thank you for the golden star, my friend, I really appreciate that! Love and hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xx

Awe, Sandra, this poem is a jewel for the Christmas poetry contest. You are such a talented poet and great at writing a story within a poem. It was wonderful and children and adults alike are bound to love it. I certainly did. I loved the illustrations as well. All the best of luck, my friend. A hug, Ulla xxx

What a wonderful way to narrate the Jesus story. You have so creatively and touchingly crafted the story of Jesus in the cute little creatures. To Christians, Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God but God incarnate in the flesh. As such, God chose to become a human being not to judge mankind but to save the world. Much enjoyed. Good luck in the contest!
