Very nicely done! I have always been fascinated with trains and the hard work that went into installing the rail lines. You have painted a clear picture of the American Railroad.
God Bless!

I love how you can feel the rhythm of the train going down the track with this poem. I think you do a nice job capturing the spirit of reflection and adventure and at the end, a coming home. I like the imagery of the railroad combined with the idea of keeping one on the right track.

I could almost hear the distant throbbing of the might express as I read this, it is structured very well and flows with perfection

Thank you dear sir. And don't be a...stranger.

Surely that's what poetry is: an expression from withim. Your lines remind me of the clicky click of the train on the tracks. It's a bit like the ticking of the clock, everyone just a moment in time.

A moment in time ... yeah that's what it feels like ... just a thought fleetingly breezing through a cluttered cranium maybe a reflection even...did this time really exist that sort of thing. well done. ...ets

That was a far more impressive video than my poem.

uh huh 97 reviews later...tff the poem was good, it said a lot more to your reader than a song... but I am glad you enjoyed it. warmly ETS

'Railroad' is an exceptionally well-written and thought-
provoking piece. This talented poet's trek along the tracks was not in vain. It was a pleasure to both read and review a work of this standard.

Awe Victor, If only I had another 6. Your poem just sang itself to me. We have very often tracks not two blocks from us and when the engineers blow their music it puts such stories in my mind,. I remember being told about the Hobo's and picking up not asparagus, but coal to keep warm with. This poem is a real work of art. Oh yes my dad was a Signalman on the railroad so many years ago.

I haven't spent a lot of time on trains or tracks. Your soulful song speaks to me of what I have missed. I think it would be great to just sit back and watch the scenery. Sometimes I feel my life is like a freight train with me driving and just trying to stay on track.

I liked this..... It is different! Yet it does, as the author says snap a picture of the railroad as it goes along! Thanks! Cletus Hardiman
