Exceptional

Seems like a simple story, red and gold, until I turned it over a time or two. All the elements of a good story are here but the meaning is elusive and ambigueous, to me anyway. I love that--a mystery, by Mastery. But I can see she won him over, whether or not, she did the proposing, what? Confirmed, perhaps, but a softie--indeed. I don't know why they have contests like this. Writing 55 words cannot make a story. I think someone is wanting real easy reads to earn their money. Of course, it could be good for the one who wins, too, maybe. They might get the money back that they put into it. That's what I meant. Of course, that's just my opinion.

An amazing little story, Bob. I can imagine how terribly difficult it would be to construct a story using exactly 55 words, but you've done a super job with this one. I have one question: Do you mean, in this sentence, "She cherished confidence of her heart" to say "in her heart? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that one line. Anyway, it is a great story and it is very nicely told, with lots of visual details. You're very good at that. :p
