'A World of Difficulty' is an extremely well-written and thought-provoking piece. Not for a moment would I attempt to answer this talented poet's rhetorical questions. It was a pleasure to review a work of this standard.

Hi Gary, great phylosophical debate going on in your wonderful poem my friend, but methinks it is probably the Ark that will win this debate, there aren't enough level headed people to combat the growing army of dissidents and terrorists, and no government has the balls.

Leaders have learned over the centuries, that the best way to rule the masses is to keep them ignorant. This is very well written with an interesting idea.

NICE POEM. THE WORLD IS INDEED SWIMMING THROUGH WATERS WITH DEPTH UNRIVALED IN HISTORY. I DON'T KNOW IF MAN CAN STEM THE TIDE OR REBUILD THE ARK. I PRAY THAT HE DOES BUT AM NOT CERTAIN. DEEP PHILOSOPHICAL POEM. WELL DONE!

Dear deepwater,
Poetry or good prose? Certainly a good read, challenging and stimulating. To gild the lily, maybe you should insert a few more question marks.

this is very well written, deepwater, you did an excellent job writing this free style poem about the way we are always giving over to the savagery of mankind and not striving for peace

Deepwater;
Your genius perspective on human nature And the cause for its own destruction Is not only well composed but written in a way but fortunately awakens the reader into standing up and taking notice.
Your imagination is very inventive and ingeniously creative throughout your writing and warrior imagery is not only contemplating the fact of annihilation of ones own procreated history but it is also very descriptive and expressive throughout. On a positive side you do mention that this is a wake-up call.
Thank you so much for sharing and posting this for everyone and may the good Lord be with you always.

This is very thought provoking, and of course we won't rebuild the ark because of another flood, for God promised this. But because of the times, I believe that many arks will be built, if you read the book of Revelations. And there's so many reasons, and wars and talk of wars are the ones that comes to mind. Really great writing here, and I could probably write a book on this, lol, but I did enjoy what you had to say. . .Sharon

Deepwater some interesting questions raised thank God not all is gloom & doom. We always see our age as the worst because we live in it and there's no getting around that. Those who have lived and those who will live after us will have the same conundrums to face.
Governing powers have always been of control, abuse, & slavery of the many, for they have a certain putrid pimple of puss filled with pride, arrogance, and deep darkness & they refuse to pinch it and really take a look at the contents.

Well GW, I would say we are destined to rebuild the ark. There's a flood coming, and it's not going to be any prettier than the first one. There is too much hatred, war, violence, pain and heartache for it to continue on like this for much longer.
But, this flood won't come in the form of water, oh no. This flood will be fueled by mankind's technology, and his abilities to wreak havoc and destruction upon his own species. This flood will come in the form of molten rock, and earth, and flesh.
It is coming. Be prepared!
